Greetings!

I
just returned home from the American Christian Fiction Writers
Conference in Minneapolis. What a wonderful conference! If you
have any interest in writing, I highly recommend joining ACFW and
going to this annual event.
I
saw many old friends and met many new ones. I also participated
in what has to be the largest Christian booksigning ever at the
Mall of America--127 authors! I shared a table and did a panel
talk with Deb Raney. . I also played drums for
the conference worship team and helped teach a workshop with the
fabulous Thomas Nelson Fiction Publisher, Allen Arnold. The whole
conference was such a great experience! Never mind that my roommate,
Diann Hunt, and I got lost too many times to count coming and going.

My Women of Faith novel Sweetwater Gap is hitting the bookstores! Click on "Denise's Books" to read more about this book. The love story, set on an apple orchard in North Carolina, features an apple pie bake-off. Click here to download the free recipe for Aunt Lola's Blue Ribbon Apple Pie. It's delicious!
As
part of our summer family adventures, Kevin and I were able to
take our boys on a cruise this past summer. They were so impressed
with the ship and met so many new friends onboard we just about
had to force them off the thing at each stop.
Friend, I hope you're faring well and finding time to curl up with
a good book. May God bless you until next time . . .
Blessings!
Denise
